Meet Dr. Mogannam

Dr. Ramiz Mogannam is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an extensive clinical background in both general dentistry and oral surgery. He began his academic journey with a B.S. in Exercise Biology from UC Davis followed by an M.A. in Medical Sciences from Boston University, before earning his D.M.D. from Western University College of Dental Medicine. He built a strong foundation in patient care through a general practice residency and three years as a general dentist prior to pursuing advanced surgical training, completing a one-year internship and a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.

His surgical expertise covers the full scope of the specialty, including dental implants, complex bone grafting, and dentoalveolar surgery. He is also experienced in managing facial trauma, facial infections, benign and malignant pathology, as well as performing corrective orthognathic and TMJ surgeries.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Mogannam maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, snowboarding, and spending quality time with his family.
