Ramiz Mogannam, DMD

Dr. Ramiz Mogannam is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with an extensive clinical background rooted in both general dentists and Oral Surgery. He began his academic journey with a BS in Exercise Biology from UC Davis and an MA in Medical Sciences from Boston University. He earned his DMD from Western University, College of Dental Medicine. Dr. Mogannam built a strong foundation in patient care through a general practice residency and three years of experience as a general dentist before pursuing advanced surgical training. He then completed a rigorous one-year internship followed by a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey.

His comprehensive surgical expertise spans the full scope of the specialty, including Dental Implants, Complex Bone Grafting, and Dentoalveolar Surgery. Dr. Mogannam is also highly skilled in managing Facial Trauma, Facial Infections, and both Benign and Malignant Pathology, as well as performing Corrective Orthognathic and TMJ surgeries.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mogannam maintains an active and disciplined lifestyle. He is an avid practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, and he enjoys snowboarding and spending quality time with his family.
