Dr. David Tsang grew up in the East Bay Area and joined Peninsula Centers Dental Implants & Oral Surgery in 2009. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, before pursuing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry. Expanding his medical expertise, Dr. Tsang went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the State University of New York in Brooklyn. He completed a general surgery internship and then served as chief resident while completing his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Kings County Hospital Center/SUNY Downstate Medical Center and its affiliated hospitals in Brooklyn.
Dr. Tsang is comprehensively trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including Advanced Dentoalveolar Surgery, Dental Implant Placement, Bone Grafting, Pathology, Facial Trauma, and Corrective Jaw Surgery. He is also highly skilled in Anesthesia care, including IV Sedation, allowing him to provide safe and comfortable surgical experiences for his patients.
With extensive training in dentistry, medicine, surgery, and anesthesiology, Dr. Tsang is uniquely qualified to treat a broad spectrum of oral and maxillofacial conditions for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and senior patients.
Outside the office, Dr. Tsang enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife and two children. He is also fluent in Chinese, allowing him to better serve and communicate with a diverse patient community.
