Meet Dr. Coffey

Dr. Coffey

Dr. Ashley Coffey is a native New Yorker and grew up in the beautiful Hudson Valley. She received her
Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts and then attended
Columbia University College of Dental Medicine to pursue her interest in dentistry. At Columbia, she was
recognized as a Macy Scholar and was active in clinical research involving dental anxiety, fear and
phobia. She then completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Montefiore Medical
Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City where she served as Chief Resident. Her
training encompassed full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on dentoalveolar
surgery, implantology, corrective jaw surgery, oral pathology, maxillofacial trauma, intravenous sedation
and general anesthesia. She is published in multiple dental journals. She is a Diplomate of the American
Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons.

In her clinical practice, Dr. Coffey focuses on dental extractions, implant surgery, bone grafting and
maxillofacial pathology. Her vision is to create a trusting and comfortable space for her patients through
educational dialogue, individualized treatment plans, and compassionate and uncompromising care.

When Dr. Coffey is not in the office she is spending time with her husband, daughter, and golden
retriever. She has a great appreciation for the natural beauty of the Bay Area and can often be found at
the beach, on hiking trails, or in a local park.
